Population and Sample: 30 nurses and 30 patients from a secondary-level hospital in Veracruz. Research Instruments: S10/12 Job Satisfaction Questionnaire and the PCHE-III Humanized Care Behaviors in Nursing. Validation of Research Instruments: Both instruments have been validated in similar populations, with α values of 0.89 and 0.91. Data Analysis: Descriptive statistics and matrix analysis using comparative location quotient (Qij) were employed. Results: Nursing staff showed high satisfaction with production goals, but dissatisfaction with the physical environment and supervision; Patients perceived respect and pain management positively, but communication and responsiveness to their calls negatively. Conclusions: Deficiencies in the work environment continue to affect the relational dimension; optimizing physical and organizational conditions can strengthen humanized care.
