Factors that influence the low participation of students in scientific research case: (UACBI)

Abstract

Research is one of the main activities that influence student learning, because with it new knowledge is generated, in the case of engineering, this type of activity creates technological development and scientific advances, due to the proximity of activities in this field. In this article, an investigation was carried out that analyzes the main factors that influence the low participation in said activity, for this a sample of 150 students was taken from a universe of 450 of whom participate in different academic programs of the Unidad Academica de Ciencias  Basicas e Ingenierias (UACBI), where the main factors were the lack of knowledge to carry out scientific research and the ignorance of the benefits obtained from it.
