Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TBP) is a preventable and curable disease, however, in the world it persists as a public health problem, due to the close relationship with social and environmental factors that develop the increased risk of contracting this disease. Ignorance of the disease, its transmission, attention and control, represents the main problem among the population. That is why this participatory research study addresses the problem situation in the vulnerability of PTB infections through the educational workshop technique and focus groups, the promotion of specific information on the disease through strategic learning in the school population of the Niños Héroes de Chapultepec Elementary School located in the Ejido Raymundo Enriquez in the municipality of Tapachula, Chiapas, for the construction of a culture of prevention and care for the benefit of the child population at risk, with the purpose of reducing infections and stopping the spread among the child population
